Pumpkin is originally from Southamerica. The first findings of the plant date back to 10700 to 9200 B.C. in Mexico. It arrived in Europe after the discovery of America. Today, we know of the existence of 800 varieties of pumkin, One of it is the Cucurbita pepo var. Styria - the "Styrian Pumkin".
We cultivate our Styrian oil pumpkin in the sun-kissed southern Styria. Only the best quality oft the peelless pumkin seeds are used for our pumkin seed oil. This results in a delicate and fine nutty flavour.
